Ejay Falcon is all set to become a star

A lot of people may think that Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus Big Winner Ejay Falcon has been left behind by his fellow ex-housemates when it comes to showbiz projects and careers. But this former copra worker has definitely learned the value of patience while waiting for projects to come knocking at his door. “Actually wala pa naman silang sinasabi kung meron na ba’ng para sa akin pero sana may dumating,” he said during the September 28 Star Magic catalogue launch at SM Megamall.
For now, Ejay busies himself by attending acting workshops that have helped him boost his self-esteem. Quite an introvert in the past, he claims that he finally learned how to mingle with people without being self-conscious. And this surprising change in him is brought about by his unwavering dream to succeed. “Unang-una, pangarap ko’ng magkaroon ng career sa showbiz and pinagbubutihan ko naman. Bawat workshop na in-aattendan ko pinagbubutihan ko naman. Para in case na isalang ako, may ibubuga ako. Hindi na ako yung parang natutulala na yung ganon… So alam ko na kaya ko,” he says.
With Direk Rahyan Carlos as acting trainor, Ejay confidently asserts that he can now compete with the aspiring actors of his generation. “Yung last na feedback niya lahat para sa akin magaganda. Sa lahat daw ng nagwo-worskshop sa kanya ako lang daw yung may ganito, may ganyan. Sinabi rin niya na advantage daw yung pagka-expressive ng mata ko. At kung sino daw tao ang magsabi na ‘di ako marunong umarte mumurahin daw niya, sabi niya kagabi,” he reveals.
Such good words from a respected filmmaker are very important for someone like him who hopes to make a name in the world of show business. “Sabi niya may na-improve naman sa akin. Kasi nung first hanggang third sessions namin, sobrang tahimik ko. Sabi niya tuod daw ako na hindi niya maintindihan kung ano bang iniisip. Pero ngayon sabi ni direk malaki daw ang improvement ko. Kaya salamat sa kanya,” he exclaims.
Given a chance, Ejay wants to follow in the footsteps of his favorite local stars like Jericho Rosales and Robin Padilla. “Medyo hirap ako sa comedy eh. Pero may nagsabi sa akin na bagay talaga sa akin ang Yung mga galaw ni Robin parang nakukuha ko daw. May nagsabi din na bagay sa akin ang drama,” he proudly shared to ABS-CBN.com. action.
